Junoon (meaning "obsession" and/or "passion" within Urdu) is Pakistan's most popular Sufi rock band formed in 1990 by former Vital Signs' guitarist Salman Ahmad. At a instance, Junoon consisted of deuce more members: Ali Azmat on vocals and Nusrat Hussain on keyboards.

Salman Ahmad (Guitars)

Previously was in the band Vital Signs. Brought higher within Queens, New York. Appeared in the PBS documentary The Rockstar and the Mullahs. Made an appearance in Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher in 2001.

Ali Azmat (Vocals)

Former singer for the band Jupiters. Released the solo album titled Social Circus in 2005.

Brian O'Connell (Bass)

Was friends by using Salman Ahmad long before Junoon was formed. Joined a band in a period of the 2nd album Talaash in 1992. Was married to Pakistani actress & exemplary Ayesha Alam. Announced departure from either a band inside 2004

Nusrat Hussain (Keyboards)
Was antecedently using a band Vital Signs. Was a share of Junoon sole when you took a debut album. Went within to release the solo album in 1992.
